ABOUT US
Our mission is to ensure our clients are both Fit for their everyday life and Able to enjoy all their hobbies and sports.
Located in Twyford and Wargrave GP surgeries we strive to provide first-class physiotherapy to all. NHS and Private appointments are available and we are registered with all major private healthcare providers A percentage of our annual profits go directly to 500 miles, a charity helping amputees in Malawi.
THE Team
Jenny Collis MCSP. HCPC.
With more than 25 years physiotherapy experience, Jenny works in both NHS and Private settings. Her specialist areas of interest are spinal problems, including neck and upper limb pain. She works in both our Wargrave and Twyford clinics.
Since 2004 she has undertaken post graduate training and gained experience in Occupational Health and Ergonomics and now compliments her physiotherapy work with the provision of work station assessments, vehicle assessments, home worker assessments and a full range of associated services for both local and national companies.
CHRIS Woolnough MCSP. HCPC.
A Physiotherapist for more than 25 years, Chris has worked in both the UK and overseas. Her initial experience was gained in Neurology (Strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and Care of the Elderly), but over the last 10 years she has undertaken further post-graduate training and gained experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions (e.g. back/neck pain; upper and lower limb conditions; running injuries; rehabilitation). Chris works in our Wargrave and Twyford clinics,and leads our Keep On Your Feet class for older adults wishing to keep active. She also can offer home visits within the local area.
Jo Hawkins MCSP. HCPC.
Jo qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2001 and has worked extensively in the NHS and privately since then. Jo is an experienced musculoskeletal Physio and also has lots of experience treating neurological patients. She has a passion for rehabilitation and getting people back to their work, hobbies and sports. Jo ensures that she is up to date with her knowledge and works according to evidence based practice through attending regular courses, reading articles and listening to podcasts. She uses acupuncture and is a member of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). She is also a clinical Pilates teacher and an accredited APPI instructor (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates institute). She enjoys using these skills within her Physiotherapy treatments.
Alan Cashel MCSP HCPC.
Alan is the newest member of our team. Alan was initially a qualified masseur then began his physiotherapy career working on various hospital stroke/neurological wards as a physiotherapy assistant. He completed a physiotherapy degree at Brighton University with his passion being musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Alan is working with our senior physios to further develop his assessment and treatment skills.
Michelle Ball MCSP HCPC
A Physiotherapist with extensive experience who has worked primarily with clients with neurological, respiratory and orthopaedic rehabilitation needs. Michelle has spent the last 10 years working within the Private/Charity Sector. Her aim is to rehabilitate patients through personal exercise programmes either at home or gym based in order to maximise quality of life and maintain function and independence, through improving strength, flexibility and balance while minimising injury or falls. Michelle is also trained in acupuncture for symptom management and pain relief (Full body and Auricular), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, to help clients alleviate symptoms of pain, breathlessness and anxiety.As well as being a qualified physiotherapist, Michelle hold qualifications in Cancer-Exercise Rehabilitation and Gym Instruction, and is a Cancer and Exercise Specialist for the charity Cyclists Fighting Cancer
Amber Clare MSK Therapist
Amber completed her Master of Science in Sports Therapy from the University of Chichester in 2023. Her area of expertise lies in musculoskeletal injuries, and she is a professional at diagnosing and treating conditions related to joints, muscles, ligaments, and nerves. Her degree has equipped her with the skills to identify acute and long-term musculoskeletal injuries using clinical reasoning.
